Meet the designer
Hi there! I'm Emily, a UX designer driven by a passion for problem-solving. I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from VCUarts in 2019, where I first discovered the world of "Design Thinking".
Throughout my career, I've thrived on tackling challenges and crafting intuitive solutions that enhance user experiences. I bring creativity, empathy, and a keen eye for detail to every project I undertake, striving to create meaningful interactions between users and digital products.
I am also a proud dog mom to a giant schnauzer with the biggest personality, and attitude you've ever seen on a dog. You can find us on walks around my tiny neighborhood or at your local Home Goods store shopping.

Our product owner has expressed that she has a worry of not knowing how to properly make small updates to the training/change management documents we’ve produced for her should they need any in the future (once we are gone).
Our product owner has expressed the desire to learn InDesign basics, so today Emily gave her an introduction to InDesign, as well as many useful tips and tricks for making text updates. Thank you Emily for being willing to share your expertise, and for enabling our product owner to feel comfortable making small updates should the need arise long term.
Project Team Lead
Peer Reviews
Emily has been crushing it as the main designer on the her project. She and the team are designing a better user experience for their big team of customer service representatives who are all working remote now.
Emily learned about a brand new platform, Pega, and used that knowledge to better craft her designs within the constraints of the platform.
We worked with 25 people at Shentel over the course of the project and they recognize her passion, expertise, and dedication to solving problems for Shentel. Keep up the fantastic work, Emily!
